Not with the talent he put on the floor. 9-16 in 2020-21 and 1-3 in the last three NCAA's. Too many banners hanging from the rafters At Rupp for that to be acceptable. And his "One and Done" method is long gone as successful. You need upperclassmen now. I think he realized the UK fans would be baying for his blood after his first loss

Gonna be interesting to see who Kentucky hires. I see the Wildcat nation is already hiring Dan Hurley. I don't think he leaves UConn.

The dude has been paying players for years in order to get the very best guys to come to play for him every year. Now you're allowed to pay players and suddenly he's not able to get better players than everyone else.

He's a good enough coach without taking recruiting into account that he should be much more at home at Arkansas than he would be at NIL era Kentucky.

I believe Kentucky waived the buyout. There was a clause if he left on his own he didn't owe anything.

When you consistently recruit in the top 5 you gotta do better than what he's given Kentucky the last 6 years or so.

Championships are hard to win in college but you gotta be hanging elite eight type runs out there at least.

Indiana hasn't won a title since 1987. Haven't gone past the Sweet 16 since 2016. One winning conference record since 2016. UCLA has won one title since 1975.
