and for this season, Mariota is more likely to lose his job

I think Mills has the most upside. Could stash him on taxi next year.

Mills is the safest choice as he looks to be the starter the entire season and the others you just don't know.

doesnt that depend though... we are talking about someone's backup... you may be more interested in the Bye week or the injury replacement for this season... might not be... but that is why i qualified it...

I hate wasting a spot for a 3rd QB.
But i know these owners.
They either wont trade, or they'll want a king's ransom.
Waiting could be a frustrating disaster.
I feel good about my team and i do have a spot to burn.
Sadly, it is what it is.

You can always adjust on the fly. You never know how things are going to look in week 4 or 5.

I think that's a better gamble at this point, all news out of KC the last few weeks was that RoJo was on the bubble, LAC trying to get some relief for Ekeler

But how much of this "roster bubble" nonsense was a product of fantasy and beat writers? For all we know, Reid was giving the other RB opportunities to see how they would look with the first team personnel.

very true. I guess another way to look at it - I think Michel can easily beat out Spiller/Kelly for the #2 spot behind Ekeler, whereas all the noise from the beat writers/fantasy heads ON TOP OF the fact that Rojo has never been a passing down RB and Reid typically has a RB that's an asset in those situations vs being a liability has me questioning if Rojo would ever get more than just the short yardage role, even if he is the better between-the-tackles runner
