Yup... he took us from the laughing stock and made us competitive again. However, he just can't get over the hump and into a Super Bowl championship. Need someone to finish the job

Harbaugh took over the team in 2011 with almost the same players from the previous laughing stock team and made it an immediate contention team. How do we know the next coach are not going bring us back to the pre-Harbaugh laughing stock era? Not saying 49ers should give whatever Harbaugh wants but remember how bad the 49ers was for a painful long decade.
