There is no way the Jets give Ron Rivera complete control. His draft record in Washington was abysmal. When fans know more than the head of personell that's pretty damnng. I read the posts, we wanted Darrisaw, Kyle Hamilton (my choice) or Olave and Christian Gonzalez. RR gave us Jamin Davis, Jahan Doctson and Emanual Forbes. None of these players are even on the team now.

As a fan who's experienced the whole Riverboat Experience. Ridiculous high end draft picks, terrible play calling, worse time management, starting the season like the team is in preseason mode, stagnant n overdue replacing a player who's playing subpar, lack of adjusting of a game plan etc etc etc.

Ron Rivera would be a better hire than Arthur Smith, who I’ve heard they’re considering, that’s for sure. People are forgetting Riverboat Ron took Carolina to a Super Bowl. But it would be just like the Jets to hire Arthur Smith, who was a clueless loser with the Falcons and who has only had success when Derrick Henry was his RB

I love the Falcons and Commanders coaches arguing their former coaches were worse. I am siding with the Commanders fans here, though it is a close one. Rivera gets the nod due to atrocious drafting in addition to atrocious coaching.
