a couple of choices from the history books:

their first NHL game in 79 was against the Penguins.
their last regular season game in 86 was against the Ducks.

If it's Atlanta, then the team could keep the Moose name

The AHL Moose may be shifted to Saskatoon.

Another thing that was heard was that Winnipeg police were apparently doing some early preps for potential crowd control specifically for tomorrow in downtown Winnipeg. Hmm, wonder why they would need that.

I've heard rumors for a little bit now that if the Moose move to Saskatoon, then the Blades could be the replacement WHL team for Chilliwack.

Id heard the bold too ... not the Moose to Sask though ... would be a good move for the canucks imo ...

abby would be a revenue cash cow but having to subsidize the flights of other ahl teams because theyre off the beaten path is such a financial constraint ... plus the flames want to keep losing money there

I wonder you Canucks fans, would you much rather see Phoenix be the team that relocates there? If it's the Thrashers, that team will be moved into your division, and that team happens to have an old friend of yours on its roster

I'd really prefer WPG to get their Jets back. Something seems right about that.

as for Byfuglien ... Im not really concerned ... Ill feel differently if they somehow acquire Toews, Sharp, Bolland and Keith
