And Treff, as clear-thinking as he usually is, may be slightly biased against the Raiders since they've been disappointing him for most of his life.

I tend to agree with DJ here. Those Oakland WRs are almost certainly better than they've been able to show with Pryor, McGloin and Flynn throwing to them.

The more I think about it, the more I like the Raiders to keep it close.

Don't get me wrong, I think every one of those WR's can be solid NFL players. But Jones was a product of GB's offense, and the others are just that. . Solid, nothing special. When taking a rookie in his first start with nothing more than "solid", against a defensive schemer like Ryan..I take Ryan to find a way to negate the offense over the offense finding a way to beat the D

I respect Ryan, but outside of the DL....he doesn't have much in the secondary. They are sorely lacking talented playmakers.
