They both would have thrown an inning anyway no matter who started though, so it's really not that big a deal. It would be different if it were a "normal" game where the starter might throw 7 and the guy that's passed over only gets 1.

Just wait till Matheny puts a pitcher in that's from a division foe. They will probably make him go three innings just to make sure the pitcher has a dead arm when St. Louis comes to town.
