If there was an award for making routine plays difficult, you'd be a perennial favorite.

Torii Hunter was pretty good at doing that. Same with Jim Edmonds.

Of course it was. You're allowed to recover and make the catch.

No it was not a great play.

He is routinely out of position and takes bad paths to the ball. Most of his "great plays" are a direct result of him reacting poorly to the ball off the bat.

There's something in the gatorade in the Phillies clubhouse. I never heard anything about Hunter Pence being a bad defensive outfielder before he was on the Phillies, but when he was here there is no denying he was not very good in the field.
I didn't see the whole game but at least Revere looks like he's heating up at the plate. 4 hits yesterday puts him back at .300. With his lack of power and the fact that he doesn't walk much he still needs to hit about .310 or higher for the season to be a good leadoff hitter, but he might just be able to do it. He had a good bunt single the other day so I guess his legs are fine.

Comparing anything that Revere has done defensively to anything that Edmonds or Hunter have done defensively is a joke
