Just that JJ2 was so bad that it was easy to come in above it.

It totally ripped off IF2, and the baddies were blah at best.

The whole jerri thing is garbage.

This literally could’ve been like a 2.5 hr Movie if they really wanted to

i didn't think JJ2 was THAT bad... it at least had a reason... this season had no purpose, we already knew she was a tragic hero... and did not add anything to the marvel world...

This really did nothing but say ooooh poor JJ.

How do they never really truly dive deep into that company that gave her powers? They went half way in JJ2.

I thought JJ2 was pretty awful. This was just pointless. It didnt' move her story along at all.

Seriously, though, how awesome would it have been to see her standing in the train station at the end when all the sudden people started dusting all around her. THAT would have been a great tie-in, if just to give a nod.

One thing I am really noticing during my rewatch (just finished JJ2) is that Krysten Ritter is a PISS POOR actress.

Like, OMG level bad.

Maybe it is more that the other 3 leads are actual pretty good (Cox has surprising screen presence for someone whose career seems to have completely dried up post DD; Colter’s career has rightly blown up since LC; Jones, while not a great actor, appears to have done most of his own stunts in IF, and it really added to the viewing pleasure of his scenes), but she just stand around and growls. Pretty boring, actually.

Yeah, this season was kinda pointless. I am only a few eps in, and I hardly remember what happened, so it is almost a first watch, but it just doesn’t have the suspense of S1 (obviously), or the character weight of S2. It just… is.

I am actually enjoying all the “bad” seasons upon my rewatch. Probably because I am coming in with appropriate expectations. That said, S2 is better than S3 so far.

Ritters acting is HORRIBLE. For her sake, I hope she was just following direction, but I don’t think that was the case. watching the fight scenes in Defenders, all the others held their own, and she just stood there.
