Season two just wasn't my cup of tea. And for the record, Iron Fist was underwhelming, The Defenders was garbage, & I stopped watching Luke Cage after Cottonmouth was killed off.

This shit seems to be going nowhere and the best line so far was "Fish were hurt, people were scared" (or something like that).

Kilgrave was the highlight of season 2 for me as well.

Pretty underwhelming season.

I am about half way through. I was meh on the first season before David Tennant showed up. This season is even more meh without the possibility of Tennant.

That being said, way better than Iron fist. This series seems to be a solid third place out of all of em. 4th if we are counting the Defenders.

S2 was on Iron FIst level.

At least IF had a purpose of basically being the jumpoff point for defenders.

I'll watch the last episode again, perhaps I missed some subtext or something. Having worked with women before, women hold grudges men can only aspire to. (over some of the smallest shit)

I guess I took that they actually spoke words to each other, JJ didn't shoot her in the face, or throw her across the room as them essentially deciding that their relationship/friendship wasn't irrevocably broken.

Interesting take.

Friendship may not be broken, but she did disown her as a sister.

I got around to finishing it. Nothing is worse than Iron Fist imo. That one is mostly bad because of the casting choices though.

Quake was considered a domestic terrorist by some, a hero by others. Heck, there are posters declaring her a hero intended for kids bedrooms. That is Jordan-esque.

Chf’s explanation that they were just talking shit is somewhat acceptable, but the scene just didn’t feel like that to me. JJ doesn’t feel like the self aggrandizing BSer to me.

I'm thinking that if they do continue, it'll be on Hulu. They'd probably have to tone down a lot if they were to go to Disney+.
