The DC has not adjusted his scheme to the personel on the team very well

To anyone defending Ginger right now. It's not just the fact that Dallas passed too much with the lead they had, but they ran so many empty backfield shotgun formations. Logic says run the ball and GB was going to sell out to stop the run. A full backfield and play action would have been so damn easy to pick up yards. Ginger has to go NOW.

i have nothing against Frederick but the scouts from every team said he was a 3rd rounder and that he would have been there when the Cowboys picked in the 3rd.

i don't know why JJ has a scouting staff or even has the coaching staff in the draft room he doesn't listen to any of them.

It's been talked about that two teams maybe 3 were considering taking Frederick in the 2nd. Not sure how much truth is there. Considering he's the primary upgrade and how much the line improved I'm glad Jerry jumped when he did. We can only speculate if Frederick would have made it to us in the 2nd.

I still don't believe that at all. There was never any proof of that from anything I saw. I'm wondering if the Cowboys started those rumors. Either way, the big draft day blunders were the value we got back in the trade and the TE in the second. Drafting Frederick was too early IMO, but like many others said, that never meant we didn't want the player. We felt we could get him in the second and would have loved to have teamed him up with someone else like a DL, S or another OL. I still think we made a huge mistake there as I'd rather have him plus another 1st round player. But, yes I'm extremely glad he is on our team. I think he is a building block.
