I agree that if you pretend injury so you don't have to earn your millions, there should be something the teams can do

Tough case to prove. My feeling is that there is a chance Jerry gets some money back, but I don't see it being significant and I don't see us getting back any cap room at all because of this. The only slight possibility is a portion of this year's base salary (which is very low). The bulk of the money was the bonus and and was paid out long ago. IMO this is just a personal vendetta from Jerry at this point. I'm not saying I disagree with him or don't think he should do it because I do think you need to be held accountable and if true, Ratliff screwed not only Jerry, but his team and the team's fans also. So he should be punished.

Maybe Ratliff gets a suspension, but getting back cap room is not likely to happen IMO.

He obviously was sand bagging, so glad we cut him. I don't want any money back, but I want that huge salary cap hit removed from the books for the next five or so years.
