Lol......are you a Fed.....I love sour Mike and Ikes!

My cousin was part of the Showtime Lakers. When I first started watching basketball he was playing for them.

I was also living in Germany at the time and we only got the Lakers or the Celtics, and occasionally the 76ers. Anyway, 8 stands for Kobe, 34 is for Shaq, and 32 is for Magic Johnson.

Kbso=Kobe Bryant/Shaquille O'Neal
Nice!!

How in the hell did you leave Kareem out?????

As a young kid in Philadelphia my earliest memories were the Philadelphia Warriors .... Wilt, Hal, Al Attles, Luke Jackson and then I saw a guy named Lew at UCLA.

Love Kareem, but Magic was my guy. His quote in 85 was classic. "Glad to see you're not throwing dirt on my face, I think that was a little premature."

KBSO: if your cousin is in fact Kurt Rambis, then I need you to ask him how the flack he managed to play so well in them peepers he was wearing all the time?

Also, I gotta know where he got his superfly glasses from, considering that I always thought it was crazy that he could play ball so well with those things on!

Damn!
I was hoping for a lifelong mystery to be solved.

I mean, yeah yeah, I was mostly watching Magic and KAJ and Worthy, but I also remember being fascinated by the bespectacled white dude with the goofy glasses.

I liked the Celtics too, because who didnt love Larry Bird, and Parish with his ridiculous shooting stance, and McHale.

Showtime vs Celtics was must see tv……..until His Airness came on the scene.

Still some of the most unbelievable acts of athleticism and grace I’ve ever seen.

Jordan
Montana and Rice, Marino and Barry Sanders, and Peyton Manning
Gretzky and Lemeiux, Temu Selanne, Mike Bossy
Ovi
Phelps
Ledecky

I hated Bird in real time, but I absolutely love him now. Parish with that high arching release that ALWAYS went in. Smh

Th hick from French Lick. The only thing I hated more than Len Bias dying was that he was drafted by the Celtics.

Hated McAdoo when he was UNC but forgave him after that.

Bias on Boston at that time would have been a cheat code.

I hate what happened to him. Word is that was his first time trying it.
That's what we heard. I have heard Bryan Tribble say pretty much the same thing. He bought the dope and was friends with Len.

"Smialek noted that Bias' heart stopped just minutes after he ingested what might have been his first-ever dose of cocaine; there were no signs that he drank alcohol or consumed other drugs on the night of his death. The autopsy also indicated that Bias was in otherwise good health and was not suffering from any heart condition that might have contributed to his passing.

Len's little brother Jay was shot and killed in an argument at age 20.

That's tragic. I was maybe 11 when that happend. I can't believe they would allow him to try that.
