Higgins and a CB in FA and draft another CB. The Skins also need DL n OL help. So in the end your preference of noty trading away pickss mayu end up eing the best course of action.

Supposedly, this draft is great for TE, interior defensive line, and DBs

I was against TE, but im worried about Sinott. I thought he'd be further involved in the offense by now. There are at least 3 above average defensive backs in this draft and Watts from notre dame may be a sleeper.
A bunch of guys that can still play will be cut in the off-season. Great time to be a skins fan

I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering about Sinott. Rookie TEs are rarely productive but this guy is a ghost.

McCaffery was getting opportunities and now he is not. The coaches are seeing things that we aren't and that is concerning.

I still feel good about Sinott, McCafery I always felt was a long shot to be more than a depth guy.

Mcaffery is a project. He’s only been a WR for a couple of years. His first few years in college he was a QB.

Sinnot and LMC will grow and that should be expected based on where they were drafted

Is it Sinott not grasping the offense yet. Or the coaches preferring Ertz n Etrz's contract?

That said. Errz was huge last night.

Watching him return kicks has me wondering if he could be a RB. Not a every down RB, but a 3rd dn RB in a Ronnie Harmon mode.

Allen is avg. 6.5 sacks per yr the last 2 seasons barring his injured one this yr , 10 knock downs 20 pressures all in line with his career avgs

Perception might not be reality .

Bro, he's missed some key blocks too.
Obviously being a rookie can be tough but for a 2nd rounder, i was hoping for a clear cut changing of the guard. Ertz is doing great but when he was out or resting Ben is no where to be found

I think it's time to move him while we still can.

I was more asking than anything else. I can't say I knew nothing about him in college. but from the write ups. I thought he'd at the l;east be getting more reps than Bates. Clearly that's not the case and it is disappointing. If another TE is drafted this year. That would be a huge indictment on him.

From a financial aspect. The Skins have 2 of the 15 highest paid interior DL in the NFL.

Daron Payne tied for 9th highest paid and Jonathan Allen at 15 highest paid. Only 1 other team, Seattle, has 2 interior in the top 20. Leonard Williams at 11th highest and Dre'Mont Jones at 17th highest. I only mention the Seahawks to show the rarity of having 2 interior DL making upper tier money. Now while some teams employ a 3-4 defense with only NG as the only interior DL.. I'd opine the 15th highest paid interior DL is upper tier or should be.

The Skins are the 28th ranked team far as total rushing yards given up. They are the 28th ranked team far as rushing yards per game given up. They are the 32nd ranked team far as yards per carry given up.

My perception is that a team with the 9th n 15th highest paid players in the defensivew interior should not be A bottom feeding team against the run. Which is exactly whazt the Skins are.

Given my druthers. I'd prefer keeping Allen as I believe he's been a more productive player sans Payne having a "career year" to gert paid. Since then he's been what? Average at best. Payne's best attribute imo is availability as he's only missed 1 game in his career I believe. Regardless who is kept. Keeping two average players that play the same position while paying them like they are top tier players doesn't as the girls on South Park would say, sparkle. It doesn't sparkle at all.

Agreed. I wouldn't be shocked if he was let go or traded after this year. Except for availability Payne hasn't been much better.
Oh I definitely think they wil move on from Jon Allen. We hardly ever heard his name called this season, the team was gashed up the middle when he was playing and this has been going on for 2 seasons now. Fans have overrated him for his entire career based mostly on his college career. He has never been the impact player we projected when he was drafted.

I'll post again for the Washington fans.

I am very pleased to see your team having success and hope this success is long term and consistent.

Now that the human scum Daniel Snyder is far away from this organization. The more success they have now, the more it is rubbed in his face just how much he was the problem.

Thanks, I think this is a pretty common belief among other fanbases. I've always rooted for teams like the Lions, strictly for their fans who deserve success.

I often wonder what Snyder is thinking. As a lifelong fan is he even watching the games now? I'm sure he is thinking "oh sure, give me a Jayden Daniels and I would have won too" while conveniently forgetting that he had the 2nd pick in the draft twice and screwed it up both times. He had ample opportunity to find a franchise QB.
