Clown man.

Making that comments is bad enough but to do it so early in the season is especially ridiculous.

If this was late February or early March and they were undefeated just running teams off the court while the Cavs are like 9-61 then i could sort of understand why that comment is made....but in middle of November???

I hate when anyone says some college team could beat a pro team, football or basketball. That has never been true and never will be true. The Raiders would destroy Alabama this year. The Cavs would destroy Duke.

Eh...I think some of those tankiest of the tanky Sixers "teams" from around 2015ish might have been beaten by that stacked Kentucky team. Those Sixers teams barely had NBA players on it

I think the 1989-1990 UNLV Runnin' Rebels team could have beaten the Timberwolves that year!

That may indeed have been the college team's best chance but still the pros win...they were all top level NCAA players once.

Another close one, but still..also do the kids have to play 48 minutes, like the pros?

The <19 age limit and proliferation of underclassmen going pro asap make it unrealistic in the modern NBA for a college team to hang.

Calipari and Coach K have been stockpiling many of the best recruits to the point that if the NBA had an age limit that was 2-3 years higher, they could probably beat the worst NBA team any year if given a handful of chances.

Clearly Gonzaga would beat Cleveland too. Perhaps UVA, Kansas, hell maybe even Oak Hill could take them out. After that, my daughter's 10 year old rec team could use a scrimmage. Why not the Cavaliers?

LOL.

I mean are they played the college or NBA 3 point line. I understand Zion and RJ are beasts but it is just a stupid comment. A lot of these guys dominated in college, still young players but guys like Korver and sharp shooters would carver them up. It wouldnt be close.

This is such a dumb arguement. Are Zion, Cam, RJ and Tre going to play all 48 minutes? You think Duke's bench can hold up and provide minutes with guys like Jack White, Javin DeLaurier and Alex O'Connell? lmao.

Don't get me wrong, the Cavs suck, but at least their bench guys are actually NBA players.

So then he should have said Duke could beat the Lakers on that logic, Lebron didn’t dominate college at all.

ESPN honestly needs to stop hiring former Duke guys to supposedly be unbiased analysts for them.
