im saying since cerato we are decreasing wakeup we suck im done

Good go - get lost. No team needs a so called fan like you. Any reasonable fan would realize that the Redskins are in rebuilding mode rt now & nobody should really expect much at this time. I saw some poor play today. However - I also saw encouraging signs especially on the O-line & the defense that should pay dividends in the future.

I kind of expected fans like you to have no patience & bitch non-stop unless this team went to the playoffs (which isn't happening). I guess you believe that the better approach is the one used by Vinnie where the team goes for broke with guys like Fat Al - brilliant. SM is trying to undo that thought process & some of the related damage - & doing pretty well rt now IMO.

BTW genius - I thought that SM was supposed to resign already (at least according to your warped logic in a recent post). I suggest that you focus on South Carolina college football & their so called brilliant coach whose team looked pretty sorry yesterday.

jeffcoat was inactive because of a thigh injury not a CD croder was the number one PR , grant did well with the targets he had . not sure why you are bitching

havent you seen enough preseasons where the "star " turns out not to be ? hell you said as much with grant , good in the preseason not much in the regular season

When you are handed rotten lemons to start with, exactly how good do you expect the lemonade to be?? They spent the last five months trying to prop up an option QB with injury issues. And in two weeks you expect them to come out with the Steelers from the 80's??

*ahem*...if I may interject, i believe you mean to refer to the Steelers of the 70's; Pittsburgh largely sucked during the 80's

Oh come on. It's not a 1 game analysis...Gruden sucks, I'll be shocked if he's still here after this year.

Could be & I am not too concerned about it. For me it is similar to RG3 & Cousins - anything that they do is gravy at this pt. The big thing this year is changing the culture, getting younger, building the lines, valuing the draft, etc. The other stuff will take care of itself over time.

If Gruden doesn't show real improvement he will be gone by next season. I can't see it any other way (no doubt the media & others will bitch about it & say the Skins never keep a coach - but personally I don't care about those opinions anymore)

This is true. Barring a miracle rg3 cousins and Gruden are all gone. Then we can have an actual football team not a circus.

Lol - so true. I was with other Redskins fans yesterday and for one half it felt pretty good. Then things started to fall apart. I was discussing this with other fans & it was funny how almost all of us just expected things to go wrong no matter what. It will be satisfying one day to actually expect good things to happen. Hopefully - we don't have to wait too long for that day.

Yea I know the feeling. We were up 10-0 on opening day to a good team and I already knew bad things were coming

OK for those saying Gruden leaving matters not one way or the other.. .exactly how do you establish a different culture if you are constantly rotating both players and coaches.

Good teams are the ones who have coaches around for more than a year or two. Bad teams are the ones who hit the panic button every two years or so and bring in the next guy and always wonder... why do we continue to suck. If we are going into 2016 with a new HC, new QB then likely you are also going in with an entirely new offense as well. So do we continue in the cycle of new coach new offense every two years?? And lets face it, if we are looking at a new QB it will likely be a rookie. Since I dont see this team finishing well enough to makr the Cardale mistake, I can only shudder at the possible clusterfuck that will ensue if in fact we are once again looking for a new coach.

Whats best for this team right now is if Gruden lives out his entire contract period.

I would agree with you in most cases. What makes this somewhat different is the fact that SM didn't hire Gruden. This isn't a lot different from the fact that Gruden doesn't play RG3 since he also inherited him (I know there are lots of other factors).

If Gruden is so-so or better this season then you may have a pt. However - if Gruden is a total disaster then I have no problem with them getting rid of him and yes I am alright if that slows the process down by a year or so.
