When interviewed during the game, he mentioned on two occasions that he's been told that Brown plans on trading Palmer, but only when he sees fit.

Assuming it's true, it's anyone's guess if it'll be Week 6 or in the offseason.

trade him when he has the highest value. that's the best time for your team...

I heard Glazer during the game. interesting this comes out the week the Niners (an obvious suitor) were in town

Of course Mikey boy will screw it up.

The best time now would be after the season either before or during the draft. When teams can look back and assess. There will be far more suitors.

The only exception might be if the 49ers have a good record going into and after Week 6. They may be willing to give up more than they normally would. However, the downside is that their 1st round pick would be 18th or worse, assuming they make the playoffs.

I'm not sure. If they wait until the draft team's would rather spend picks trading up for the elite QB prospects as opposed to trading for a 32/33 yr old QB a yr off football. I think Palmer's trade value was at its peak before this season, and it's drastically dropping at this pt

His best value would be right before the draft - Not sure who is available in the FA market, but if it's light, you might get some action for Palmer.

A yr older, a yr away from the game, and it's supposed to be a great draft for franchise QBs... I only see Palmer losing value at this point

I can't see how he has any value right now.... We're in the middle of the season - Nobody will throw any picks right now for a guy that doesn't know the offense.

completly agree... I think he's losing value now... I just don't see him picking it back up... the earlier he would have been traded the better as far a return....

the niners and seahawks were two of the teams interested in him. given their weak QB situations and weak division I think they'd still have an interest now.

At this point I'm sure the Seahawks would love to have him. I don't think they would get much back, maybe a 3rd and a fourth? I'd take it though. Just get what ever you can to help the team and move on.

Mike Brown is a crook and he's actually trying to run this team into the ground and milk it for everything he can. He has no interest in doing "what is best" for the team.

There are all sorts of "twitter rumors" about Palmer to the Dolphins for their 2nd rd pick....

seems strange because the Dolphins are 3 games back in their division (practically out of it already) and they're young QB played reasonably well...

not sure if there's any truth to the idea, but that will turn out to be a very high 2nd rd draft pick... probably in the 30s...

doesn't make sense, but that's the rumor being floated about

p.s. if true, Brown better be shopping him around and not just send him where Mikey wants.

Palmer would be an ideal "mentor" QB for a young prospect. Just as long as he gets out of here.

I'm really just interested in what Palmer will say about the Bengals organization when he is no longer under the "Carl Pickens" type clauses of his contract and free to say what he wants.

The same things we all know, they suck, Mike Brown sucks, Marvin Lewis sucks.

sucks, is a generalization. There are probably new facts that have yet to be uncovered.

Caleb Miller specifically mentioned at one point that Brown didn't even feed them good food. Minor example, but symptomatic of his cheapness. Miller said the food supplied at his college was better.
