6 of the 8 years he's been coach we've missed the playoffs.

I think the worm has turned. It's time. We need fresh, new blood. The man is incapable of making adjustments.

If Zeke had been available all season the Cowboys would have been in the playoffs.

It's just time man.

We were still able to run the ball even without Zeke. His coaching leaves much to be desired. It's not like he's going to improve.

It's like watching a Jeff Fisher coached squad......mediocrity.

I don't hate the man, but I see it's time to move on.

Unfortunately, it won’t happen. Jerrah loves puppets that can hold the locker room and Garrett does that. The OC will take the fall even though the HC with an offensive background can change plays. The OC made bone headed calls, but honestly Dak and his 13 picks not to mention fumbles was too much to over come. big Red is the definition of mediocrity. 3 8-8 seasons going on 4 in 7 years and after this year will be the most futile tenured coach with only one playoff victory in 7 years. See 3rd quarter this year and how this team was simply outcoached and outplayed.

I've long been in support of JG, but I too think it's time to try someone new.

If it were my call I give Garrett one more year but, I wouldn't be upset if the team fired him. Not that it matters because Jerry is not getting rid of him this yesr

Jason is not getting fired .......Yet ...... Linehan and Rod will both get canned before Jerry pulls the plug on Jason

It is looking like its time though I for 1 am really tired of the poor game management and the Knack for not having the ability to adjust on the fly when the game plan goes south.

Maybe and maybe not. Zeke is special but the others we have are more than capable. Our next man up at that position ain't like it was for LT.

JG and Linehan gave the same problem...they want to throw the football when their personnel is designed to run it. If Garrett stays, I think the Cowboys would be well served by adding an OC with a more conservative run first approach. Bill Parcells would run the ball three times and punt it alot of times, but it won games, and he never had Zeke

I am all for a new coaching staff. Trim some dead weight on the roster, too. It's time for some new ideas, fresh faces, and a little more creativity.

Garrett was/has been given enough rope.

PDay, he's a freaking football genius.
nice...can you find one post of mine where I implied that?
What I've said is his teams play hard and no longer have the sense of entitlement Cowboy teams played with before he became head coach.

I've always wondered why that opinion bothers you....oh well

Garrett is a master of the little things (practice how you play, technique, awareness) and the big picture (attitude, competition). He just needs help during games which you can say is not something a HC needs help with. He seems like Joe Torre out there without Zimmer next to him sometimes. He doesn't think on his feet well and damn he sucks at throwing that red flag. But, did you see the only guy on the filed that went running over to tell the defense to pick up the God Damn ball after Awuzie threw it away after the pick? Garrett. Yeah, turns out it didn't matter, but it's the little things sometimes that do matter. I'm a little torn, but one more year is fine with me.:2cents:
