I think We could and will draft a QB in the first or second round. Preferably in the 1st. If JJ was willing to possible pull the trigger on Johnny Football 2 seasons ago, then it's no reason he shouldn't go for Goff or the guy from Memphis now. Hopefully not the Memphis guy though he's very immature according to reports.

He put up XBox numbers today against AF, but I'm not sold on him as top 5 guy because he has average a strength. Good player, but would be more comfortable with him as high 2nd instead of high 1st, which is where he probably goes

I don't think Goff gets out of 1st round. What happens if the chargers and browns don't take a qb? The best qb in draft could be there at our pick. It may now or suffer after romo is done,which could be next season. I think Goff is going to be a good qb. Lynch also looks good.

I didn't see a lot of goff this year but what I did see looked good. I'd be ok with the pick up he is there. I also have more faith in the process with McClay in the room.

Goff looked good yesterday outside of missing 2 open guys that I believe would have each been good for 6.


That said, it was one game, and it was against Air Force. I would have liked to have seen the guy under more duress. He seems to move well. He needs more meat on his bones, and it appears his arm is good, not great. His accuracy wasn't too bad. If he can go sit on a bench somewhere for a while, it may serve him well.

I have nothing against Goff or Lynch, but there's nothing thatcould happen at the combine that would make me want them in the top 5 overall. I remember what Andrew Luck, Hell, even RG3 looked like in college, and that ain't it

We can't draft QB in round 1 under any circumstance. The talent doesn't justify the slot selection

I wouldn't be pissed at a selection of Bosa, but I'd rather swing for the CB

If we get 4th pick and the Tackle goes in the top 3 we only need one other player to go to get one of the two. I'd sign up for either right now. Way too early guess from me says the CB is more likely to be there.

OH, I have no clue at this point. Just saying I'd HOPE for a guy that turns out to be a PLAYER at corner or strong safety B4 DE...just think those two positions require upgrade much more so

I'm hoping we don't resign Hardy which leaves a spot for a DE if we see a guy we love and think can be an impact player. But we have enough players if we don't like anyone enough to pick one early too. I stand by my thought that Gregory is not an ever down NFL player, but also that a Gregory/Mincey(or someone else) combo could be. Safety and Corner are pretty much a need for this team under any scenario even if we sign a FA at those spots so I certainly wouldn't be surprised or unhappy to go with either of those two...

Hargrave in the first may be the best option for this team and hope for Wentz in the 2nd.

Put me down for CB if we don't select Goff. Maybe even trade back if it's a couple CB's they like. Its not a need but who's the best wr coming out this year.

Wentz is a pretty good prospect IMHO I watch a lot of NDS football since they whipped the snot out of my K-State wildcats a couple years ago

He's got the size, strength, and smarts to be a true NFL starting QB. We have had worse in Dallas, especially for 13 games in 2015. Considering Romo didn't look like the Romo I've come to love, one could argue 16 games in 2015. Not sure any of the QB's in this draft are worthy of a high 1st, many look like quality NFL QBs but not high 1st franchise QBs. If we could trade back to mid 1st and grab Cook I'd be OK with that too. I know our fan base hates it when Jerry trades in the draft, but odds are it will happen at some point.

I agree he will be playing in the FCS division 1 championship game AGAIN in Frisco on the 9th of January ESPN2 is carrying the game in case you want to watch
Cook would not be a bad fallback option either
