Guess the 49ers and Seahawks are back to representing the NFC West for the foreseeable future. Didn't take long for the Rams to implode.

The Rams better just enjoy watching the playoffs on television and needing to spend a ridiculous amount of cash on Ramsey during the offseason while fielding an aging/injury prone OL while putting one of the worst QBs under pressure since Andy Dalton on the field. Oh yah, they wont have any high picks to bolster the OL and all their cash will be tied up. Good strategy... Rams run is over. Face it.

Crazy to give up that much for a guy that you are going to have to sign to the largest contract ever handed out to a secondary player (by a lot).

You'll have a hard time convincing me that the Rams are tangibly better on the field over the next 6 years with Ramsey vs what they could have netted with those two 1st round picks and how they could have spent that money on in the FA market.

These kinds of moves make sense in basketball where dominant players is all that matters. I just don't see it in the NFL where depth and scheme are more important than individual top talent (outside of the QB positition of course).

But to be fair, the Rams are a better team going into next week than they were going into this week. And finding a way to justify not handing that headcase Peters a big contract is a slick move too. Ramsey is a diva....but Peters is flat out crazy.

Hope so. Looked at the stats and was surprised to see how identical the Rams and Bengals D are. Figured Minshew would have a much better matchup against the winless team.

Wasnt Peters rated like the worst starting CB last year or something? He gave up like the most TD’s or but plays...something like that. If you play opposite of Talib and you struggle I dont know what to tell you...maybe he didnt fit their scheme. Hard to buy but it’s possible
