Can't be worse than Gabbert.

(Seriously, Tebow's available, and Gabbert is the one "starting" QB in the league than whom Tebow can actually get a higher completion percentage. And "hometown hero" Tebow would fill those empty seats.)

You're right about this. Especially the fact that Tebow would sell tickets and jerseys. Also, people would be more accepting of a 3 win season if you made this move. Gabbert is a joke and no idea what anyone ever saw in him.

There are only a small handful of teams where his presence wouldn't turn the entire thing into a circus and Jacksonville isn't one of those teams. I think we have seen the last of tebow in the nfl.

agree on jax. while i understand him not wanting to change position, i dont understand tebow's stubbornness not to play in the cfl if he has offers.

No. Let him die off. He has no place on any NFL roster, and wouldn't have a place if every QB on every roster in the league died in a plane crash. Just stop with this bullshit.

I am baffled at how people are still hung up on Tim Tebow. The guy sucks and had 1 lucky playoff game with Denver. He sucked in Denver overall, he sucked with the New York Jets, and he sucked too badly to make the Patriots roster even as a 3rd string QB. Even the pathetic Jets didn't keep him around as a backup.

Enough with the stupid conspiracy theories that all 32 NFL teams are out to get Tebow. They don't want him primarily because he sucks, but also because players that suck aren't worth media circuses. Tim Tebow is the only 3rd string QB I ever saw do a press conference. People's love for this guy is absurd. They only like him because he is extremely vocal about his religious views.

I have a family member who is a total Jesus freak. He goes to a modern style church where they play/sing along/throw their hands in the air to modern gospel rock and other modern Christian music, all the works. Guess who his favorite NFL player is, and guess which former Denver Broncos player printed T-shirt he owns despite never having been a Broncos fan? You guessed it, Tim-****ng-Tebow.

to be fair the jets never gave him chance....hard to suck when you are given only one page of a playbook that does nothing to play to your strengths. He needs to accept an opportunity to play qb wherever he can get one or just move on.

Might as well get Tebow and tank the season. Win win scenario. Get the #1 draft pick and still sell tickets and also prove that Tebow is really finished.
