Jags New Uniforms

They're pretty new but they've already been around 5 years...which is the minimum required for getting new unis. They're obviously in a hurry for new ones and rightfully so!

I am confused by the examples you gave. What does blue in Seattle or gold helmets in NO have to do with anything?

Oh, my point was I'm not a huge fan of all black or solid color jerseys. Solid white looks fine because the logos/#s, stripes etc. bring quite a bit to it.

A lot of time with solid black your team logo and color scheme just makes it look goofy if you have too many colors and/or it doesn't accentuate your team colors the way white does. It just... looks strange. It's like making an Excel report or Power Point slide ALL black with colored text. Just... huh?

I said for the Saints: It works because black is a HUGE part of their logo. So the all black actually lends itself well, and gold/black work out very nice. The Jags don't really even have GOLD in their logo. Like there's hints of it but there's kind of a darker yellow there too. So now you've got like 5 colors going on.

As for Seattle... Seattle basically has 3 colors. Dark blue, white, and neon green. So again it's somewhat limited and their logo is mostly dark blue... If I WAS going to pick a logo to go full color in, dark blue is close to the least offensive. All red, yellow, teal blue, orange, green, etc. woof...

Point I'm making is basically all black looks retarded outside of a few teams and your logo needs to sport a ton of it. Falcons/Ravens can pull it off IMO. It seems like when other teams do all black they are trying to look 'edgy' or 'cool' when IMO it looks stupid.

Dolphins change is subtle, but I like it. No more blue, more orange.

Simple is always best for uniforms in my opinion. I never cared for uniforms that are too busy with their design.

that helmet looks a million times better. i'm not a fan of the matte look that has been popular over the last 5-10 years, particularly in college. high-glossy all day, everyday

Yes they do it, too... the Cards do as well and it looks stupid as fuck.

I gotta admit Seattle's neon green LOOKS worse but at least they're trying something original, despite how terrible it is to my eyes.

the Dolphins are also supposed to be unveiling a tweek to their uniforms today as well. Won't be as big as this change, but they should have a press release or something at some point.

Seems like they tweak that helmet every few years for some reason.

Yes, the 49ers black uniform is terrible. The 49ers have no business doing all-black. They should do all-gold for their color rush unis/alternates.
