I can see it meaning one of two things either they are planning to move arnott and jj is going to take his slot which I hope is not the case or they feel confident on making a push and are going all in either way welcome back jj

Exactly what I was thinking, BUT why would Sestito be put on waivers? If Arnott leaves, then JJ has to take his spot with Sestito on the 4th line... Do they really want JJ to be the 4th line center? I guess they might want Mair to center the 4th with JJ the 3rd..

That's why I'm leaning towards them making a push.could also be an effort to let arnott know the team is serious and want him to stay.Truth is all we can do is speculate only a few people know the answer to that and their usually tight lipped.

That made it sound like they might just want Josefson to practice up with the big team for a while so head coach Jacques Lemaire can get a look at him..

Would love to see jj get some playing time even on the fourth line for now.our fourth line has showed allot of energy and created a lot of chances.would be interesting to see what they can do with another player with a little more offensive potential.

I liked him before the injury and Tedenby has been solid for us. I like how our future looks, at least our forwards.

I'm wondering if the Devils are trying to see it JJ is ready to center arnott's line so they can move arnott...... who knows?

Honestly, Arnott has had a horrible last couple of months in terms of offense. Sure he's not getting as many minutes, but he's playing with a couple of really good young players. He needs to be helping them offensively, not just sitting there. It probably couldn't hurt to get JJ in there. He's hungry at least.

Arnott only has had 7 points in the last two months anyway.

7 points or not, its nice to have a forward who can push people around a bit, I'm still hoping he stays

Plus, as soon at the Rangers game, hes still willing to give up the body to make a play. Its not all about scoring you know.
