This is fair actually. Wasn't he making 10 mil per season with the eagles? I want to see how this contract is broken down.
8mil? I didn't know we had that much space. Do we have to make any moves for it to work?
That's just the average, not necessarily what the team will pay this year. My guess is that his salary this year will be in the $4M range and he received a rather hefty signing bonus that can be prorated over the life of the contract, keeping the cap hit low this year.
So in theory, after Clark and Jackson, is it safe to assume we'll be fine signing our draft picks?

i guess that 4 mil incentive laden low ball nonsense held up well why in hell would he take a 60% pay cut over gang signs ?
i knew that was foolishness before the text was dry
Oh well - all water under the bridge now. We should all simply be excited at what looks to be a very exciting offense next season.
i wish when the debates are going on that there would be reason involved instead of falling on the sword we get so often here

Cmon - this should be a day to be happy to be a Redskins fan. All that I really care about in the end is a good product on the field and this at least holds the promise of that. I really don't care about winning debates or who was right or wrong in previous posts (for the most part). Like I have always maintained - I would gladly be wrong about just about anything if the end result is a better Redskins team.
