Jack Hoffman has setback in cancer battle

I'm sure you all remember Jack Hoffman from his touchdown run in the Nebraska spring game...it appears that he has run into some trouble once again. Jack is 8 years old, and last October his cancer was declared to be in remission. Early this year, they spotted something that seemed to be concerning, and tests today showed that his tumor had grown again. There are treatment options that they are currently looking over to determine what to do next.

Regardless of who you cheer for, please keep this kid in your thoughts and prayers. He's become everyone's favorite Nebraska fan. Jack will be down in Kansas City to watch his friend and former Nebraska RB Rex Burkhead play for the Bengals against the Chiefs.

First it was Lacey, and now this little kid. It really puts things in perspective. Hopefully soon I can get back to thinking football is important.

This is too freaking awesome. Frame of mind can be a powerful healing factor. Having gone through chemo, I can't fathom a child having to deal with it.

No child should have to deal with cancer or the horrible treatments.
