He was also in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. Great band. BLT (Bruce, Lordan, Trower) was one of the bands that I stumbled on in vinyl that I enjoyed a lot. He did a ton of solo stuff.

Sorry to see him leave us but hopefully he is jamming out with the other passed on R-n-R greats as we speak.
