No seriously, I am not saying not to go after guys like Howland, Dixon, Smart, and other guys like that. All I am saying is that there is no reason in the world for them to want to come here. Yeah, we have great facilities but that is not all that is a factor. Especially leaving a place like UCLA or Pitt. It is just thinking logically.

Bottom line is, this guy is gettable, but we don't have the money? What happened to opening up the pocket book? We can do 1.3, but not 1.6? What's a measly 300k for a shot at some recruits and a chance at the tourney???

Yeah, what do you do if you are Groce?

1. Take the pay day now at Nebraska or maybe somewhere better if he keeps running through the tourney.

2. Take the Shaka Smart route and come back with a great experienced team, make another run and then have a big track record for a bigger job.

Groce wouldn't give us that real "wow" hire that most fans are looking for but probably wouldn't be the worst hire.
