Rios was just missing on pitches he was hitting a week ago.

Yes he missed a couple there but I am glad he worked somewhere around a 10 pitch AB after MM worked a 9 pitch walk. Get that pitch count up looked to be a quick inning to start but he threw 28 I think

4 pitches to our 1st 2 hitters after a 28 pitch 1st. 8 pitches total for the inning.

Our plate discipline is non existent.

To answer your question, no.

IMO, at least the 1st two hitters should have been taking at least the 1st strike.
