didn't Oklahoma State drop to 4?
in the BCS rankings
they dropped to 6 in the human polls

I think there will definitely be one
they should push for a rule that a team has to win their conference to be in the championship.
why?
I don't doubt that there will be a fuss, but after all that has happened... I don't know how much of an argument they can have. Especially if Oklahoma beats Oklahoma St. Stanford... eh they really haven't shown that they are a great team. I don't even know if they beat Notre Dame at this point. That game could be a coin toss. Stanford simply hasn't proven that they can beat any team you put in front of them.
Neither has Bama. Do you boys not even acknowledge that LSU won at your own house?

Yep, we do. And the circumstances have provided a legit and rational reason for a rematch. Get over it.
If there wasn't a legit reason then this would not even be up for debate. Obviously the circumstances have changed the preconceived notion. You don't like it because UGA didn't get the nod under completely different circumstances. You don't want to see that, and that is fine, it isn't for you to decide anyways.
if nothing else crazy happens I guess it will happen after this fiasco
BTW just so you know I'm saying that my team shouldn't be in the championship either because we won't be winning our conference
I got to thinking about and I think I came up with the answer as to why it is not a rule. Notre fucking Dame can't win a conference.
That is a very good point. Wait... are you insinuating that I have to thank Notre Dame for something now?
:mmph:
why?

The problem I see with a Bama/LSU rematch is that if Bama wins, they will both have the same number of losses, with losses to each other. The only thing that would make Bama the "champion" in that scenario is the time and place the game was played.
You'd have an SEC Champion LSU with a 13-1 record, and a National Champion Bama with a 12-1 record.
I'd call LSU the champion because they won the first time
