March 14th (Part 1- The major tournaments)

Now it gets REALLY serious. This is the time where some tournaments (like the Atlantic 10 and the American) become very important. You'll see what I mean when you see this slate:

Atlantic 10 Quarterfinals [From Washington D.C.]:
St. Bonaventure vs. VCU (11:30 A.M.)
(Okay, @TheGoodMan19, let's see if your favorite team really CAN steal an NCAA berth. Oh, and VCU will want to win this tournament; they don't want to leave their fate up to the committee.)
Saint Louis vs. Loyola-Chicago (Around 2:00)
George Washington vs. George Mason (5:00)
Dayton vs. Saint Joseph's (Around 7:30)

Marquette vs. St. John (6:30)
UConn vs. Creighton (Around 9:00)

ACC Semifinals [From Charlotte, NC]:
Game of the Day: Duke vs. North Carolina (7:00)
(If the Tar Heels can't beat Duke NOW, with Cooper Flagg on the shelf [at the moment], they DESERVE to be on the bubble this Sunday.)
Clemson vs. Louisville (Around 9:30)

Big 12 Semifinals [From Kansas City, MO]:
BYU vs. Houston (7:00)
Arizona vs. Texas Tech (Around 9:30)

Auburn center was in the paint the entire possession (basically 15-18 seconds) and nothing called. WOW

I think Marquette-St John's will be an epic finish. Kam Jones has been a monster for Marquette the last few games. He's be on my all-American team.

Tulane over Florida Atlantic 83-76
North Texas over Tulsa 77-59

(Sorry, @TheGoodMan19.)
Loyola-Chicago over Saint Louis 72-64
George Mason over George Washington 80-65

Creighton over UConn 71-62

Mountain West Semifinals:
Boise State over New Mexico 72-69
(Whoa.)
Colorado State over Utah State 83-72 (WHOA. BOTH bubble teams in the Mountain West won? OOOOOO...)

Most off yesterday's games were stinkers. Houston slaughtered a BYU team that had been playing well. St. John's smoked Marquette in the 2nd half. Florida, Alabama, Tennessee all won big. Texas Tech losing and probably dropping to a #3 seed was big. St. John's probably gets the 4th #2 now. Maryland slapping around Illinois was bit also. The SEC semis will be epic.

March 14th (Part 2- The other championships)

Now on to the other championships: Where a LOT of NCAA tickets will be punched. And I personally can't wait for the Big West final between UC-San Diego and UC-Irvine (at 9:30). These two teams are a combined 57-9, and one of them will punch a NCAA ticket while the other will have to wait it out as a weak bubble team that's not likely to get in.
Now for the other leagues that'll settle things:

American East Championship:
Maine @ Bryant (11:00 A.M.)

MEAC Championship:
Norfolk State vs. South Carolina State (1:00)

MAAC Championship:
Iona vs. Mount St. Mary's (7:30)

MAC Championship:
Akron vs. Miami-Ohio (7:40)

Conference USA Championship:
Jacksonville State vs. Liberty (8:30)

SWAC Championship:
Jackson State vs. Alabama State (9:30)

WAC Championship:
Grand Canyon vs. Utah Valley (11:30)

Good win last night after several weeks of frustrating basketball. Try to get some revenge on Maryland today and get into the conference championship game.

Those SEC games today should be a blast.
