Right now, CBS Sports is reporting that #16 Memphis is the #1 seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament. Yeah, A-C-C. My wife, who loathes basketball, knows that Memphis is not in the ACC

The SMU loss to the Seminoles hurt bad. Barring an upset in the tourney, the once mighty ACC is a three bid conference. And without Duke, they would probably drop below the WCC, Mountain West and maybe the A10. Louisville is a nice story after the last two season but haven't beat anyone. Clemson beat Duke but accomplished little else. the rest are stumblebums. I don't think either make it past the first weekend

A couple of those games were interesting. Fairleigh Dickinson, 12-19, took 25-6 Central Connecticut State to OT And Valparaiso, 13-18, 6-14 in conference, gave 24 win Bradley fits before losing. Bradley wasn't going to the NCAA but if Valpo knocked off Drake in the arch madness final, would that have cost Drake a bif
