Come on everyone, I know we dont have a who should start at QB situation to debate for the next few weeks, but lets make some noise.

And IM going to throw it out there early, we will win this game and pundits proclaim we simply beat an Eagles team with too many injuries to overcome on the offensive line.

My guess is if JAckson plays, Chip will have put out a mandate to not let HIM beat them at any cost. So I would think Garcon will have a field day if anything actually. They are going to double cover Jackson from the moment he steps off the plane.

I saw the Eagles game, last night. They are horrible against the run. Even Trent Richardson was doing good. Smh If I'm Jay Gruden, I am running Alfred Morris at least 25 times. I believe he should easily get a 100 yards on this group. Then, that can set up the play-action for Cousins to make big throws. I pray Desean is healthy by the time the game comes. I know he is so ready to show his old team that they made a mistake by cutting him.

Fellas I live in the heart of eagles country and have gone to that shit hole for the skins game for 11 years in a row. There is no other game all season I want the skins to win then when they go to Philly. My head says we can split with them this season and win at home lose on the road. That being said if their O-line and D-line play like they played against Indy and the skins play like they did against the jags there is no reason the skins can't win this game.

IM going to go on the flip side guys. Our DEFENSE is going to be looking to make a statement this week. And I love the fact that our defensive leaders came off the field after last week saying "we aint did nothing and we can and will do better!"

I think Haslett comes out and lets the dogs loose early. And while the Colts might not have had any one who could get home, we do.

Im going to say 28-17 Skins, with Morris running for two and cousins Throwing for two.

I'm not really seeing stats (except for Alf) so much, but this is the week the Skins display their big play ability in all 3 aspects of the game (and beat the Eagles in the big play category) 2 of the big plays come from new players who haven't been Skins long.

In no particular order.

Roberts 70+ yard Pt Ret for a TD.

Redd 40+ yard run for a TD

An RK or DHall INT sets up a short (red zone/goal to go) TD drive for the offense (Alf TD)

Cousins will play a smart, game manager type game. He'll hit on a 2 big plays for the offense, one of which will set up the game clinching FG. He throws 1 red zone TD (hopefully to Djax against his old team) and have an INT or a fumble, but no one will be mad at the game he plays.

Alf gets his first 100 yard game of the year, a short TD run and the combo of him, Helu (if he plays) and Redd will be huge in the running game from an offensive perspective. If no Helu, Redd picks up the slack.

The Skins defense gives up 2 big plays, but overall play an all around solid game. The belief Haslett was shackled by Shanny during their time in DC gains more solid footing among all Skins fans.

Sorry, guys, but we come back down to earth this week. Eagles 28 Skins 24. KC goes 22-35 with 1 TD and 2 INTs. Morris rushes for 85 yds, but we get down early so we can't use him as much. I'll go out on a limb and say one of our TDs will be from the defense.

Skins win if they can stop Shady and Sproles, control TOP, get strong pass pressure and RUN the ball. I think they can, but they will have to play with minimal errors. I also think they get great pressure on Foles. The Eagles Oline and WR corps can be exploited right now.

Close game, but Skins prevail.

There are 3 or 4 very intriguing matchups this week. This is one of them. (9ers @ Zona, Den @ Hawks to name a few).

I am very impressed with the coolness under pressure of Foles. Especially in the 2nd half. He has been deadly.
Very impressive. Jacksonville and Indy's running game sucked royally vs Philly. Gerhardt is a brute but their oline has not provided squat for him (as we saw in our game too). Trent Richardson thinks he is Barry Sanders for some reason.
Donald Brown gets it and they miss him badly(North and South!). We have Alfred Morris and we need to stick with him this game!

Our defense is better than Indy or Jacksonville. They are on a shorter week.

Nope. Moreso because the Eagles, and even the 9ers and Hawks aren't aren't pumpin any fear into anyone right now.

Still early in the season and all that, but its looking to me like an On Any Given Sunday type league. As opposed to a few teams being clearly head n shoulders above every other team. And Foles seems to have come back down to earth of sorts with another 27 TDs/2 INTs season unlikely.
