Isn't it a little bit weird how we featured Newby last night in a game that we knew we were going to win?

We could have given so much experience to Wilbon and Cross, but instead it was the Newby show against South Alabama.

I'm wondering if we were just trying to look as basic as we possibly could heading into the Miami game.

It also helps in recruiting kids from California, a place Riley and Co. know well.

I believe this game boils down to the ability of Miami to run vs our rush defense. Everyone is talking about how Miami will throw all over us. News flash, everyone will throw all over us. Been saying that for months. The strength of our D is our rush D. Miami has a very depleted running game. Do people think Miami can beat us by only throwing for a ton of yards? They will need the balance of a running game.

Plus no one is talking about the matchup of our entire offense against Miami's D. Anyone think that Miami D can slow down our O enough to out score us by only throwing the ball. Our offense will move.

I have never been scared of this game. Not saying it will be a Nebraska blowout but believe it will be a tough close game with Nebraska wearing Miami down.

You have to admit, it's one of those games the Huskers lose (VT, UCLA, etc). That is what the nation's thinking.

Nebraska is not in the MSM, therefore the nation is only going by what it expects. The typical Kool-Aid drinker has digested a new coaching staff and rationalizes that things are gonna be different now.

I'm not even a Kool-Aid drinker and I think the Huskers can win the game if they don't beat themselves. It's just the pride in me talking.
