Not digging it. The Boggs All Woman Remake was okay if only for the pussy hats, but not even on the same planet as the original. Was the point to actually make a shit episode?

The moon readings part was funny. I realize they are poking fun at themselves (as they do w all the Mac stuff) but it comes off as tame compared to past episodes that really pushed the edges.

Because it was women.

It's classic storytelling. Show the audience the underlying theme, don't tell them.

Feminist dialogue was prominent in the foreground, but the whole picture demonstrates masculine superiority, as you picked up on. Nature's truths are unrelenting, they're omnipresent, no matter how you frame the narrative.

Sure, women can be in comedy (equal opportunity and all that jazz), but then comedy will be worse in proportion to their input.

Same thing as if media companies forced the NFL to use female quarterbacks. A degraded game within the degraded society that enabled it.

I missed last week's episode, but looking forward to this new season.

Ya I’m not feeling it. The Mac character was funny when he didn’t know he was gay. Clip show...Teddy is a kid that died of cancer...Dee channeling psycho Dennis. I’m watching I’m just not belly laughing like usual.

Watched episode 1. Terrible. Doesn't really deserve more comment than that. New Mac is completely useless to the show and that storyline did not land.

Might catch episode 2 tonight. Hopefully all five of them can get into some shenanigans.

Ya it was dumb. I can appreciate art. The dance was cool. But it was completely out of character as Mac would/could never do that. He’s always been portrayed as athletically awkward. A terrible finale for a comedy show.

You reminded me that dumb Charlie that can't read, write or understand things is a much more funny Charlie than the recent seasons version.
