For those who thought this was a three team race in the West it's time to wake up. Colorado is fading fast and is now 8 1/2 back. With the Dodgers loss they are 7 1/2 back but the Dodgers have the pitching to make a run and Colorado does not. Colorado also has trouble winning on the road and you have to win road games to be competitive especially in the West.
Giants got it all roll N but they have to keep the heat on Puig and the Dodgers and maybe they implode. Mattingly might be replaced at some point . The Giants are hungry enough to keep their lead all year and boy that would be sweet. The Dodgers pitching is still there and it has my attention.
I do know one thing and that is that this is a two horse race and the Giants have a 7 1/2 length lead which California Chrome would be proud of. Can the Giants take this thing wire to wire? You bet your ass they can ! They have what it takes but the Dodgers will not go away so easy.
And down the backstretch they go....stay tuned for this two horse race in the West.
