That really hurts them a lot. Rocker is a quality pitcher, but would not sign for what they offered. Not sure what the physical issue is, but it must be one that his side doesn't believe is serious.

They were only there because they had all those rainouts (and Covid-outs) early in the season. I think we all knew once they had played the same number of games, they'd be back in the middle of the pack.

Not a Red Bulls fan thankfully. I'm not sure there's a player in the majors that has cost themselves more money than Michael Conforto. He would have been a $140 million guy before this season. Now he'll probably get a qualifying offer and hope for a rebound next season.

The Mets have a very difficult west coast trip this week. They could conceivably lose every game. They have been absolutely snake-bit by injuries this year and deGrom is not likely to be ready to pitch again this season, at least not as a starter. Thor may be back relatively soon.
