It's a longshot but can we win 100 games?

We have to play .750 ball the remainder of the year to win 100 games. Part of me thinks it's possible because we play 12 games against the M's and A's and am confident we can continue to beat up the Angels during our 6 games with them. We're also going to be facing Boston without Youk, possibly Big Papi, and a hurt A-Gon for our 4 game series.

It's doubtful we get it done but I believe we can the way we've been playing.

I don't think it is possible. I think the best case scenario if we sweep the White Sox and then win every series without sweeping anyone they'll win 97. I think to win 100 they'll need to literally win every series while sweeping 4. That is a tall order.

Definitely. Let's just focus on winning games and staying on top of the Angels. If it means 95 wins, fine. 92. Still fine.

far as i'm concerned the only thing important is to win 1 more game than the Angels. today we have 27 games left and the Angels have 29 left. if we go 15-12 the rest of the way the Angels have to go 20-9 to beat us.

i have to agree. we need to win at least 14-15 of our last 24, that would force the Angels to win 18-19 of their last 25 just to tie us

Yes, but they could easily go 16-8 for 95 wins. That's a pretty damn good record there, and in my opinion puts us into October.
