For example, could you imagine if Bo left and we offered the job to Tommie Frazier and he said..no I think I will stay at the University of Auburn...I imagine that would be difficult on Tommie and us. Would he still have the same love for Frazier?

Bo is a great coach. No doubt. But after his tirade on nat'l TV during the aTm game, no way in hell could tOSU hire him. It's gonna take a little time to get the rep for being a maniac behind him.

Can you image going from the sedate Sweatervest to frothing-at-the-mouth Pelini? The faithful tOSU grayhairs would fill up their Depends in angst.

Also his time at doane is highly scrutinized due to his coaching style....... I have no problem with "old school" coaches- but this is a highly pussified world we live in today...

The aTm outburst was the last time Pelini was on the national stage. It’s not like anyone whose not a NU/U-dub fan watched our bowl game. Plus, Bo’s tirade was a minor youtube sensation, at the time. I just don’t think enough time has passed for it to be forgotten.

I don`t really know if Frazier even has a ¨coaching style¨. I really don`t know what went on at Doane but I do know a few people who were around the program when Tommie was there. I have heard nothing but neggative comments. People say he single handedly destroyed the program. They say there were only thirty some players left by the time he was done. Judging by his record, what others around the program said and how many kids quit or transferred, I`d say he`s a pretty terrible person when he has a whistle in his mouth.

Don`t know him other than what I`ve heard about his coaching. Could be a decent guy. Too bad when a guy is arrogant though.

He announced our State Championship game in `96 and I still have the tape. He is probably, nay, he is the worst announcer I´ve ever heard. He cannot talk, so why would anyone ask him to call a game?

Yeah, I don't know where he was b/f tOSU, but he's a heck of a good coach. Even if he is polar opposite from Wildman Woody Hayes--who was also a heck of a good coach, as I understand it.
