Remember my league is a dynasty, every player taken from the 4th round and beyond can be kept if the manager so chooses. Also there are no limits on the amount of players that can be kept provided the manager has room on his/her roster.

Jordy Nelson (K)
Eric Decker (K)
Stevan Ridley

for

Rob Gronkowski (K)
Reuben Randle (K)
Darren McFadden

Do you consider this an even trade?

Gronk/DMC side is risky, but yes, I'd say that's even... obviously if Gronk remains out and DMC's history creeps up again, the other side wins big... but when everyone's on the field, it's pretty close.

If Gronk is back this week, then pull the trigger, it will revive a not so good Brady this season and doesn't hurt being able to keep him next year.

I am not part of this deal...it just went down in my league. The guy trading for Gronk now only has 3 of his players that he originally drafted.

These two managers have now hooked up for 3 different deals this season already...there are some in my league that are getting a little antsy.

Think their is some shady things going on that they've traded 3 times with each other?

That is some of the chirping that I have heard. This is the first year of this new league and I am the commish. I have all trades on commish veto/approve and I create a poll for people to participate in and vote, anonomously, on whether they approve or disapprove of a deal. Right now the vote is 2-2 and I voted to approve.

who are people vetoing? meaning, which side do they think is so much better?

Gronk - best player in the deal
DMC - risky, top potential, but isn't elite, and has his history
Randle - could be the Giants 1-2 punch with Cruz, if they don't sign Nicks back next year, and in the mean time is very productive.

Nelson - pretty consistent with WR1 stuff and Rodgers
Decker - everyone thinks he takes a back seat, but he's still very consistent and the Peyton factor.
Ridley - sky high potential, but his usage is scrambled.

anyone who vetoes this need to check themselves.

Are they the only teams in the league that are reasonably active with trading, and are any of the trades objectionable? Kinda tough to judge only because they've traded with each other...

Money league? And can't blame people for chirping, could be some collusion going on, you never know.

I agree with Chef. It could just be that no one else likes to trade. Sometimes when two guys love to trade they could have many deals together. I think the deal is close enough not to worry. The RBs are about equall-both bad. Randle is not much of a factor at all. So it comes down to Gronk for Nelson/Decker. Id rather have gronk with out looking at rosters and such. Decker and gronk will both lose value once their QBs retire which should be in a few years or less so some could say Nelson side is better. Close enough to pass for sure.

Yes it is a money league. We have 12 teams and 5 or 6 of us have been fairly active thus far but The side getting Gronk has made more than double the maount of trades as any other manager and only has 3 of his original drafted player left. Also in a previous league that blew up, these two individuals disagreed with a trade that went through so out of spite they concocted a trade that was 10X worse, best part was that I won the league that year and both of them missed the playoffs!

I think the Gronk side is the worse side because both Gronk and DMac are huge injury concerns and Randle was jsut picked up out of FA this week. Jordy and Decker being keepers is what skews the value IMO. Decker produced with Tebow so Peyton retiring isnt that big of a deal IMO.

McFadden is a serious upgrade over Ridley, even with injury concerns.

I mean it's really not that bad, does this guy have the WR depth that he moved both Nelson and Decker and only got a Randle to fill a spot in return?

This is certainly not a vetoable trade... Is it even, probably not... But trades are usually not even... This trade all depends on Gronks health... If he comes back and plays anywhere close to how we know he can play, then the Gronk side wins... if gronk never comes back or does not play well(which is just as likely), then the other side wins in a landslide...

Previous trades between these two managers:

MJD and Megatron for Arian Foster and Decker(Yes he just got him back lol)

Current trade

And a trade at the draft...Side getting Gronk gave up his 3rd round pick for other side's 4th round pick. So essentially a 3rd round pick for the keeper 4th.
