Leiter's replacement may be a bullpen guy to keep an eye on. Since late June, he has only allowed runs in one of twelve outings. His name is also Josh Smith.

7 innings no hits 2 BB 6k.
Hickory crawdads with the complete game no hitter.
His ERA is 3.59 but his WHIP is like 1.01 and k/9 is like 10.5. His ERA would probably be better if he had better defense behind him and a little bit of luck.. or no bad luck..
I see a promotion to AA within the next 4 days
Promote Mitch Bratt to high A to take his spot.
Dane Acker needs to get promoted as well.. from the rookie league.

Re Bubba. I just want him to play here or AAA. Next year if he starts he as picked it up or we have not filled LF adequately.

To me he is likely competing for the 4th OF spot
But if they envision his as a starter he will need to blow out AAA at this pace
