Is TB gonna go to Glennon?

Seems like they can barely move the ball with McCown out there. Every throw is short yardage stuff. Glennon wasn't fantastic or anything last year but he looked as good if not slightly better that McCown.

I understand signing McCown he knows the new offense but if you're hitching your job to a journeyman back up 34 year old QB I suggest you network you are going to need a new job soon

mike glennon should have never lost his job the buc offense was looking pretty good while he was under center he was getting the ball to vincent jackson and the passing game looked pretty good which hasnt been the case in almost forever because ive never seen tampa have a good QB. but if i was mike i would be internally laughing on the 0-2 start from not choosing him as the starter

All bears fans could've told you McCown was a terrible QB during the offseason. This should be seen as evidence of trestmans mastery of nfl QBs.

I think the McCown experiment was worth it but its time to bench him.

If Mike Evans doesn't go down at the end of the Rams game and the Bucs are 1-1 then Im not sure we are even talking about this for a couple more weeks but McCown is holding that team back. Cassel is also holding the Vikings back.

They should imo...McCown is just a stop gap QB with little upside...Glennon was still learning, but should've been more ready this year even with a new system...has more potential...play him.

Starting Josh McCown at the beginning of the season was worth it, he did well last year and he deserved a chance, but I think now they have to go with Mike Glennon, someone who has more offensive ability

They are in a catch 22 now. If they play him and he does well, they are gonna get ripped for giving McCown a 3 year deal. If he does poorly, they are gonna get ripped for not getting him more reps in camp. They've basically set him back a year, while he is still on his rookie deal. What a screw up

I wouldn't say putting a 2nd year QB who was raw coming out of college for 2 games is all bad.

The screw up is the Bucs starting 0-2 facing a 2nd string QB and a 3rd string QB.

Get used to it bucs fans. During his tenure as the bears head coach there was always a QB controversy. We got used to "Kyle is our quarterback", "Rex is our quarterback", "Brian is our quarterback", etc. Get used to "Josh is our quarterback" until it's clear to everyone in the world except Lovie smith that a QB change needs to happen. Another game or two after that, you'll see Mike Lennon go in.

McCown is guaranteed $4.7mil, contract not really a good reason to hold back Glennon who I admit is not lighting it up, but has more upside.

Lovie went for the quick fix because this guy supposedly knew the system...so far, QB play is dragging the OFC down...play the kid.
