Alabama DT Da'Ron Payne is visiting the Carolina Panthers on Tuesday.
The Panthers are picking right around the realistic range for Payne should he fly off the board on Day 1 of April's draft, as they hold the No. 24 overall selection. To whit, NFL Media's Bucky Brooks projected the Alabama lineman to go just off that slot in his most recent mock draft, pegging him to the Falcons at No. 26. The 6-foot-2, 311-pounder posted a composite testing score in the 59th percentile of NFL defensive tackles at the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this month.
