No. He was a worthless, unqualified loser when hired and remains a worthless, unqualified loser today.

But that's good enough for Detroit fans since some think he's learned from his mistakes (numerous ones) and is viewed by some to be "slightly above average".

Slightly above average is successful in Detroit. 9-7 = great season. Extend the contracts of The Clown Show and give them huge raises.

Well I guess Mayhew is off the hook for not filing tampering charges against the Dolphins. At the time I did not like the fact he did not at least attempt it. Now with hindsight involved glad I did not go apeshit crazy about it.

I'm going on record and saying, right here and right now, that this draft class will be one of Mayhew's best. Tomlinson and Abdullah will be highly productive (I see no reason for them not to). Carter will probably get in some action all throughout the year and will probably be a situational player in the rotation as he's being groomed. Wright may surprise if they get him back to form. He'll be in the rotation so he will probably be most productive there.

Our new Fullback will probably be solid in the power run game and catch a few balls. I can see this group being really productive over the year.
