That Richardson trade seemingly came out of nowhere... with the Jags challenging the Browns for the 1st pick this year what do you think the chances are of MJD getting shipped out? Any fits?
Trades during the season are pretty uncommon in the NFL, so I will be surprised to see more deals follow. Then again, I would be less surprised if the Jags had traded MJD than I am that Cleveland traded Richardson, since it is also very rare for a team to trade a second year player who's coming off a solid rookie year after being taken third overall in the draft. In fact, I'm pretty sure that that has never happened before!
Browns are looking for a RB.
Trent Richardson joins DL John Matuszak as only players since NFL merger to be drafted Top-3, then play for another team the following year.

Yeah I agree... just mainly speculation. I could see MJD getting dealt in the offseason for sure but the regular season is a long shot.
I could see the Browns trying to get DeAngelo Williams or Jonathan Stewart from the Panthers. Those two have been on the trade block for years and they know the new offense.
I think if a play-off caliber team has their RB go down like the Colts did, it wouldn't be too far-fetched for them to go after a guy like MJD. Jags wouldn't get a first rounder though. A lot more mileage on him then Richardson. It would also have to be a team with room financially, I would think.
