They aren't going to the playoffs or anything, but Stoops might end up somewhere else next year.

I heard that brought up on radio earlier this week and the host (I think it was Bill King) asked:

“Kentucky pays their coaches pretty well so it would have to be a bigger program that gets him, whats opening up?”

He went through a list and the only one even close to having a shot at opening up that made any sense at all was USCw but, didnt really see that either

Yea lots can happen before silly season but dont look like there would be an obvious landing spot this year.

Kentucky is good, not REALLY good, but they are good. Because of their weak division, they might be a division contender come seasons end, but ultimately Georgia is gonna win it.

They will be tested the next two weeks so we'll see just how good they are. If they can get by SC and A&M, I can see them finishing out with 1-2 losses. Vanderbilt, Middle Tennessee, Tennessee and Missouri should be easy wins for them, but in my opinion, it all depends on how they play against SC and A&M. Georgia is a loss and Louisville is a rivalry game so anything can happen there. But realistically, I could see Kentucky finishing the season anywhere between 8-4 and 10-2.

BUT!...lets remember that they started 5-1 last year and ended up 7-6.

They're good for Kentucky. Probably 8-9 win team depending on bowl matchup, which is a good season for Kentucky. I still think South Carolina is the second best team in the SEC East. We'll find out if I'm right on Saturday.
