Honestly though, think Rolie starts playing like he's 40+ years old, St. Louis takes a step back, and if Stamkos plays like he did in the 2nd half, they are in trouble

The east is a crapshoot.Can Thomas repeat?When will Crosby return?Can the Caps learn to play defence?Will the Flyers gel?

So to me,2nd is not farfetched,now that the Flyers have a goalie.

A few more questions to ask:

-How will Bryz survive in a city that expects the best?
-Will we be able to once again celebrate Miller Time?
-Will Brad Richards help Gabby get his groove back?
-Will Geno get back to his 100+ point self?
-Who actually will fuck Dallas? (it just seemed right)

Staal is usually the 3rd line center but Bylsma is quite intent on Staal centering Malkin. The injuries ruined that plan last year. But w/o sid i think he will try that line combo, 71, 11, and 18 together.

Staal isn't the kind of player to be setting up scoring wingers. He is incredible on his normal line with Cooke and Kennedy.

Personally, i think Staal as the #1 center is a recipe for disaster.

Malkin and Staal as a top line sounds pretty nice though, but if he really isnt setting up the wingers then Id rather spread everything out. Maybe keep the line intact, just give it more minutes (If Crosby remains injured)

Bylsma is a great coach, and he got you guys through everything last year. Id trust what he does.

Just didn't want to come off as a homer with the Flyers 1st,but it's not far fetched.

With Richards and Carter gone,the Flyers no longer have to worry about them playing a regular shift,the powerplay,and the penalty kill.

Their pickups mean that guys like Giroux and Van Riemsdyk won't burn themselves out by the 3rd period,doing all three shifts.

As for Pronger,cut down on his minutes and let the other d-men pick up the slack.He would be a little more useful IMO if they didn't play him so much.
