It's been a LONG time since the Lions have won a playoff game, and haven't really come close to even going to a SB in decades. (IMO, they haven't ever been close, but some of my buddies feel differently)
Is it finally their time to shine? It seems like all the pieces are in place for them to at least be a contender. Although I think beating Seattle (especially IN Seattle) is a long shot, I feel like the Lions may just have enough fire power, and defensive line power to make a case for them to be a SB contender come playoff time. It was good to see both Chicago and GB lose in week 1, but Detroit probably still needs to win 10 games to even be in the hunt in their division this year.
The Lions have a pathetic history, but with a new coach and some stellar players in their prime, it might just turn into a magical season.
Am I just drinking the kool aid again?
