If they allowed checking in soccer there wouldn't be anyone left to play the game. After all players fall down in agony without being touched.

It's actually a great idea. The game of soccer would no longer exsist. Of course the entertainment industy would have a tremendous influx of talent. These guys definately have acting down. If Ronaldo can sing he would probably sell more CD's than Beiber.

Really, these are the only 2 sports I can think of with a concept similar to that.
