Didn’t SM come up with sherf , crowder Ironman ?

Schreff waas drafted too high. With our QBing last year and Gruden p[laying a banged up Richardson until he got injured. Its impossible to judge our WRs. But JC has been trending the wrong way the last couple years. Also, did Quinn have an injury plagued college career? MI was a damn good pk and the exact kinda players the Skns FO places no value in.

Hitting on 3 players in 2 years iosn't a hellified thing by the way. Particularly with the FA addsitions were pretty bad as well. Hey, I'm not saying Scotty Maqc is as shitty as Bruce. Not by a damn sight. Bruce being extremely shitty doesn't discount the fact that SM was pretty shitty.

You make fair pts about SM. However the guy was only given 2 years. Gruden will be starting his 6th season of mediocrity this season. Why not just have a little patience & again if SM was canned - fine. However they should have 1. not shamed the guy - keep it professional & 2. immediately have replaced him with another true GM instead of transferring control back to that idiot Allen. Snyder is clueless.

As far as Schrefff - I disagree. When healthy he is one of the best & I believe that he will continue to contribute - he is one of the bright spots on the team - just unfortunate that he has had to miss time in recent past. As for Quinn - so what - he was the last pick in the draft. That is a crap shoot & anything that they get from him is gravy.

https://deadspin.com/dan-snyder-reportedly-dumped-a-marketing-campaign-becau-1831851331

Saw this yesterday & it really ticked me off. If this is even remotely true then I am really losing my patience with Snyder. Supposedly one of the reasons he dumped the PR guy was because the slogan "We Hail" was too close to "Sieg Heil" & Snyder didn't like that it resembled a Nazi term. Give me a fucking break.

If this is true then I consider Snyder a hypocrite among his many shortcomings. I definitely want them to retain the Redskins name, but in doing so Snyder draws the wrath of many by appearing to be insensitive to Native Americans. Now he is worried about some remote connotation to a Nazi term? Whatever.

Again this may not be true, but I definitely don't have a hard time believing this. I also believe that this helps clarify again that Snyder cares a lot more about other things beyond the actual team. I actually believe that the fans & the success of the team are very, very low on his priority list.

Yeah, I agree SM didn't get enough time and the way Snyder/Allen dealt went about the firing of SM. Was a typical Redskins front office move. Classless, triflin, embarrassing. Still the pining that I've done far as wishing SM was still here running things instead of Allen. Has much more too do with Allen sucking swollen blue whale nuts. As opposed to all the awesome draft picks and FA signings under SM.

BS is a good player. At times he's dominated, other times though he's been dominated. No question we were weak up the gut before drafting BS and since have gotten a lot better. He still should've been taken lower though.

Far as Quinn goes. I like him. It's a small sample size, a couple games, but from what I've seen. He looks like he could adequately do what JC does far as catching passes and returning kicks. If he's not injury prone. He makes JC replaceable. Which if that happens means another SM move that didn't work out for us.

JC will be on a team this year . He was a great pick for us . Just because our FO can’t afford him doesn’t make it a bust for us . How many of those draft picks are still in the nfl ? Believe it or not our team is right up there with draft picks still playing in the nfl. For the past half decade

Sure he'll be with some tean this year. If that team isn't the Redskins though I don't seed how he could be called a great pick for us. He had a decent, promising rookie year, a good 2nd year, an eratic 3rd year with some terrible plays by JC and an injury laden 4th year. As a 4th rder he's been an alright pick, but his last couple years aren't anything to write home about and if Quinn can do what JC does, well......................

Redskins draft picks playing for other teams aren't helping or contributing to the Redskins. And if there's as many as you say they are. That just speaks to other issues at Redskins Park such as coaching and getting the maximum or close to the max out of the players they draft.

What it should say is other teams like our picks and grab them when they can

Actually, you're both right. While it truly does nothing to help our team when players go elsewhere, it does speak to an inability to get the most out of players here, when they go elsewhere and become solid contributors. Maybe it's the scheme, poor judgements, or an atmosphere where good enough is expected and acceptable, but one thing is clear, players are good before and after they play here, it's the time that they are here that's ofttimes troubling.
