They absolutely are Superbowl contenders. As a Seahawks fan, the two teams I really don't want to see in the playoffs are the Saints and the Panthers

At first I typed no, then back tracked to maybe.

That DL is going to keep them in most games...but just looking at the game vs SF. Clearly with Davis out, Kaep was a fish out of water so holding them to 9 points was impressive but should be noted.

The OFC vs a good DEF had trouble scoring as well scoring only 7 & 9 vs SEA & SF...I'm thinking as a wildcard they can be dangerous...especially playing an NFCE DIV winner. Work still to do though as they have NE plus two games with NO remaining.

They started the season 1-3. That's starting pretty slow

One of those games was Seattle, arguably the most talented team in the NFL. One of those games was that bizarre Buffalo game that they had no business losing.

Their d line is good enough to keep them in any game. I think they'd need to avoid playing at NO or at SEA in the playoffs, though. If the Hawks and Saints get the top 2 seeds, one of them is going to the Super Bowl.

Are you watching him this year or are you still hanging on to your first impressions? Cam is playing great football. I know its hard for many to accept after doubting him for so long but its true.

Hey JDM, just a little reminder of one of your predictions from last week:

The next 2 games will be interesting for them. They have played 4 weak teams in a row. I want to see how they do vs the Patriots and 49ers.

They get beat badly. Cam isn't intelligent enough to keep pace with a real team.

Tough to say with that offense. Cam would really have to step up, I don't see them beating the Saints or Seahawks in a playoff game.

I think they are dangerous though, I wouldn't want to play them in my first game.

The Panthers always seem to play better in the 2nd half of the season. I am going to the MNF game next week, and hope to see them knock off the Pats too. Over the last three games (ATL, SF & NE) I would have been happy with 2-1. It looks like it could be 3-0 with that stretch and then the schedule eases up a little bit sans the two NO games. 11-5 is a real possibility now.
